Crusher and screen wear parts

Jaw, cone and screen protection that survives the feed

Crusher liners, feeder pans, screen decks and grizzly bars take impact and abrasion at the same time. The material choice sits between through-hardened abrasion resistant plate and carbide protection, usually combined, and the difference between a good and bad choice is measured in changeouts per year.

How we choose the material for this duty.

  • Feeder pans and impact plates: Hardox 450 / 500 with reinforced impact zones
  • Screen decks, side plates and chute work: Hardox 500 or 600 in reduced thickness
  • High abrasion hot spots: carbide tiles, buttons and inserts welded into place
  • Sticky or wet screening: UHMW-PE lining to stop pegging and blinding
  • Plasma and laser profiled to the OEM part drawing with holes and bevels

Questions buyers ask about this duty.

Can you cut wear parts to our OEM drawing?

Yes — plasma and laser profiling, bevelling, drilling and forming to the part drawing, so the part arrives ready to bolt or weld in rather than as plate.

Which Hardox grade for a jaw crusher feeder?

Hardox 450 where impact dominates and the plate has to be bent or welded heavily, Hardox 500 as the usual compromise, Hardox 600 where the feed is abrasive and impact is moderate. Send the feed size and current life and we will put a grade and thickness against it.

Send the duty, not just the grade.

Tell us the service conditions, the current material and what life you are getting. Our Dubai desk comes back with the grade, the thickness and what is in stock.
